About Us

The National Student Health Awareness Initiative site is the culmination of over two years of planning in response to the many health issues our students face today and in their future. Hamiltons Sunscreen products were the first to come on board the initiative, recognising the enormity of the growing, and frankly frightening, problem of Skin Cancer our families face. Other sponsors have come on board with incentive prizes for your students and your school, so our thanks to them. With their support we are proud to present a whole new approach to School fundraising. This approach ensures that fundraising in the future is based on health education. This will ensure that our kids enter the ‘real world’ armed with as much knowledge about how to stay healthy in all aspects of their life. To make certain that the site offered incomparable opportunities to students, we sought the advice and direction from all of the health information providers involved to create an interactive educational website for you and your family (see Health Provider drop down bar). To further ensure that students are given major incentives to review and learn from the health information, a number of competitions were included, both for students and for schools. The competitions are ‘in addition’ to the fundraising aspect of the site. To further enhance the incentives for all the competitions, we designed them in such a way that the size of your school is irrelevant. Anyone and any school can win (see Competition drop down bar). The Initiative will double as a fundraising opportunity for schools whereby families are offered the opportunity to purchase essential sunscreen products via the school. Sunscreen made by Australians for Australians helping keep Australian families and jobs safe and secure. Simply by purchasing product/s from the sunscreen range                      and entering the unique code found on the back of every purchase, the student is entered into random draws for prize incentives (see the Fundraising Product drop down bar above ).

Hamiltons have a sunscreen product suitable for all ages and skin types so Mum,Dad, Gandma and Grandpa can all help raise funds and all learn. Your School will benefit from every purchase of essential Hamiltons Sunscreen Products, but we also felt it was important to be proactive in addressing the health issues. Therefore, for every product purchased a further percentage will be donated to a variety of Foundations, all of whom benefit your students, including skin Cancer Research and the Canteen Foundation. So, over two years of planning has brought about a health information site for students with incentives to learn and earn. We do hope that you will enjoy all of the different aspects of the www.nshai.com.au site. We are sure that over the coming years NSHAI will become the primary source of fundraising for all schools Australia wide ensuring that all students are given the information they need to have an informed, healthier, life for the future, their future! Our sincere hope is that from the launch of this National Student Health Awareness Initiative, students, their families and teachers will develop a greater understanding of a wide range of health issues that may affect them or someone they know. Skin Cancer is our primary target this time because skin Cancer knows no season and it is imperative that our kids learn to protect themselves throughout the year because:
